Skin is a poster project that was commissioned by Tartmus. I used eight advertising boards to show how the beauty industry labels skin tones. To my surprise, darker tones were often named after nature or coffee types – stones, earth, cafe au lait, etc. Lighter tones as natural, nude ... The reason why I chose race as the topic for these works is because Tartu has very high rates of racist hate crimes.
